This is the largest European park dedicated to telecommunications, from the beginnings to nowadays. It is located on the commune of Pleumeur-Bodou in Brittany and is managed by France Telecom (Orange). It was created in 1991 and accomodates each year nearly 80.000 visitors. The visitors can find temporary exhibitions (2011 there: Experiment the Moon) and permanent assets suh as the 50 height meters giant radome, 64 meters diameter and 200 meters of circumference, which has been classified in 2000 under the Historic buildings. This radome shelters an antenna of telecommunication (PB1) which allowed the first experiment of mondovision with the video transmission on line between the United States and Europe in 1962.
The A2 group will have a quick lunch in the Cité then go to the Mont Saint-Michel for a guided tour, while the A1 group will head to Perros-Guirrec via the Côte de Granit Rose, for a special lunch with sea food and wine, near the seaside.
